Ola partners with SBI, launches Visa powered Credit Card
Updated: May 18, 2019
Ola seems to be following Paytm’s suit & launches its credit card in partnership with SBI Bank, Ola Money SBI Credit Card. Paytm’s credit card too leverages Visa network. Unlike Paytm, Ola’s credit card seems to have far better benefits.
Here’s everything we know about it:
You can get Ola Money SBI Credit Card by filling in a simple application at no joining fee.
Just like Apple Card, Ola is providing flexible & convenient payment options to all Ola users.
Users will be able to apply, view & manage their credit card directly on Ola app with a tap of a few buttons.
The cashback & rewards will be instantly credited to the users account in the form of Ola Money, and it can be redeemed against Ola rides, flight & hotel bookings etc.
Ola Money SBI Credit Card comes with a host of cashback offers: 7 percent cashback on Ola Cab spends, 5 percent cashback on flight bookings, 20 percent cashback on domestic hotel bookings, 6 percent cashback on international hotel bookings, 20 percent cashback on over 6,000 restaurants across the country, 1 percent cashback on other spends, and finally and 1 percent surcharge waiver on all fuel transactions.
Earlier this week Paytm had launched a similar credit card in association with Citi & Visa. It is called as the Paytm First Credit Card; it is touted to offer universal 1% unlimited cashback universally to customers across all categories.
Both these cards have upped the credit card game & we will wait to see who walks away with a bigger piece of cake. For now, let’s enjoy the benefits while they last.
It’s good life (Paytm First Citi Credit Card tagline) vs getting used to the extraordinary (Ola Money SBI Credit Card Tagline). Which one do you prefer? I would love to hear your views.
